Cecily was then sent to RAAF Eastern Area HQ at Point Piper, before being sent to 5 SFTS Uranquinty on 22 Sep 1943, where she stayed until discharge on 2 Jan 1946. Cecily married Allan George Nye in Sydney in 1957.
