Highlights: Enlisted on 5 Mar 1942 aged 21 years. After undertaking initial training at Bradfield Park she was employed as an equipment assistant at 5 SFTS Uranquinty before undertaking a course at the RAAF School of Technical Training to become a Meteorological Charter in Dec 1942.Promoted to CPL on 1 Aug 1943 and posted to RAAF Station Evans Head - 1 Gunnery & Bombing School, RAAF Rathmines (Flying Boats) and RAAF Richmond, before discharging on 29 Oct 1945. Lived in Haberfield after discharge. Dorothy married VX64100 Frank Lenne Salter at Sydney in 1946. Frank had served with 22 Bde Workshop in Malaya and was a Prisoner Of War in Changi Singapore.
