Parents listed on enlistment documents were Ruby & William Peterson. On her husband’s enlistment papers, her maiden name is listed as Buckman. BDM Search found that Dorothy was born in Crookwell to Ruby & William Buckman, Ruby’s maiden name was Peterson and her parents were married in Crookwell in 1911. Dorothy & Edward were married at Enmore in 1941. Edward Taylor served as a RAAF Guard from 2 Sep 1942, at Evans Head Gunnery Range, RAAF Stations Horn Island, Townsville & Macrossan. He was discharged on 7 Jan 1944, to resume his employment at Bond’s Industries in Camperdown. In 1969 they lived at Leichhardt, but had also lived in Tamworth as he was a company “Branch Manager”.
