Enid Philomena Daly

Highlights: Joined on 10 Sept 1942 after having completed nurse training at Mater Hospital North Sydney in 1935. Enid was working as a theatre nurse at the Mercy Hospital, Melbourne prior to being appointed as a Lieutenant and assigned to 102 Australian General Hospital, Holland Park, Brisbane. Enid was sent to 129 AGH in Darwin in early 1944. In March 1945 Enid moved to 118 AGH in Northam WA and 3 months later to 128 AGH in Tamworth NSW, back to 102 Mil Hosp (Holland Park) 4 months later and finally to 113 Mil Hosp (Concord) in Feb 1946. Enid resigned in Sept 1946 and went to live with her parents in Helensburgh NSW where her father was a school teacher. In 1973, Enid who had married Joseph Michael Riva in 1967, was living in Vincentia, NSW. Joseph had served in the Middle East and New Guinea as an artillery surveyor and computer.
