Highlights: Enlisted on 29 Mar 1943, aged 18 years old. After completing initial training at Ingleburn, she was posted to 114 AGH, Goulburn on 15 Jun 1943, for duty at 114 Aust Laundry Unit. On 10 May 1944, while still serving at Goulburn, Faith was promoted to L/CPL and on 26 Mar 1945 she married N201462 John Alexander Ryall, in Goulburn. John was also posted to 114 AGH. She was discharged on 21 Jun 1945. Her husband continued to serve at 114 AGH until his discharge on 18 Feb 1946. In 1997, Faith was living on a property at Barmedman, when she was finally issued with her medals. John was living at Barmedman on enlistment. He had enlisted on 6 Feb 1942, with 4 Cavalry BDE, but due to his flat feet he was transferred to Medical Corps to train as a Hygiene operator. He joined 114 AGH at Bowral, before the unit took over the Kenmore Hospital.
