Highlights: Enlisted in 2 Feb 1943, aged 18 yrs. After initial training at Ingleburn, Olive was posted to 14 Aust AA Battery, Brighton on 24 Feb 1943. The was then sent to Sydney AA Ops Room, Bankstown, for a short while before being posted to WA HQ Fortress, Perth on 20 May 1944. On 14 Aug 1944 she was redeployed to 3rd Vehicle Park as a driver before returning to Sydney for her discharge on 28 May 1946. Olive married NX173465 Andrew Stirling in Sydney in 1946, after his discharge on 30 Jun 1946. Andrew had served in New Guinea and he and Olive had served together at 14 Aust AA Battery.
