On 28 Jul 1945 Renee married VX34640 CPL Leonard Martin Mansergh, a pay clerk with 7 AGH who had served in the Middle East and New Guinea, before the hospital returned to its final home in Heidelberg, Melbourne. The couple settled in Middle Park Melbourne after discharge.
